Ditch the alarm...

I know this may sound strange, but most people wake up in a total state of fight or flight (aka “stress”) to their alarm. Have you ever noticed that it’s literally called an “alarm” as it alarms you into consciousness?This is not the smoothest of transitions from a regenerative sleep into the beginnings of a new day. However, these days we have options when it comes to being woken up.Most smart phones have a vibration alert and wearable fitness devices have vibrate alerts that can wake you significantly more gently than an alarm going off next to your head!If you’re really keen to wake up gently there are even sunrise alarms that turn on and wake you with light… brilliant.And while I’m at it… please make sure your phone is either OFF or on “AIRPLANE” mode if it’s anywhere near you while you sleep. Radiation does emanate from our little friends so do yourself a favour and give it a rest each night too.Read this and this :)
