Monday Motivation - August 20th

Hello Boys & Girls!

Gonna keep this one light and easy(ish) as we continue to roll on through this endless summer.

  • Exercise - do some.

  • Food - eat real food, not too much, mainly plants. Simples.

  • Sleep - go to bed an hour earlier.

  • Read a book, spend more time with people you love, get out in nature.

Right, that’s the health spiel done….

Holiday books

A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles - a new favourite of mine about a Russian Count sentenced to house arrest in a Moscow hotel… NY Times book of the year 2017. TV series coming. So good.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse - an easy reading spiritual classic about a young man in the time of Gautama Buddha finding meaning in life.

Shoe Dog by Phil Knight - the story of how one man’s dream to bring running to the masses created in Nike. This isn’t the business book it could have easily been, but rather an exciting page turner that’s almost unbelievable. I don’t look at Nike the same, in a good way!
