Monday Motivation - December 23rd

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!

This is our final Monday Motivation for 2019 and it has dawned on me that, not only are we coming to the end of another year, but also the end of a decade. Possibly time for extra reflection? Think back 10 years… where were you, what were you doing, how different was life back in 2010? What have you accomplished with your health, family, career? Now it’s only days away from 2020, what are you aiming towards for 2030?

If you need help to think back to 2010: iPhone 4 was released, Gordon Brown lost to a young David Cameron in the election, diesel cars were in and electric/hybrid cars were new!

Give yourself a pat on the back for all you’ve achieved and everything you are grateful for in the last decade. Write everything down and then show the list to someone you love.

Now turn to 2030 and make a list of what is in your focus over the next decade. Write it down. How old will you be? How old will your kids be, or will you start a family? Where will you be living? What areas of your health and wellbeing need focus?

Below are some helpful references to help you in the process:

I hope you’ve enjoyed and appreciated life in the last decade, and here’s to the next 10 years being even better, healthier and more fulfilling. Make a note to do the exercise above after Christmas when you will have more time, and best wishes for achieving your goals in 2020 and beyond.

Thanks for being a part of our health community, and for taking an active step towards improving your health and wellbeing.

Happy New Year and we’ll see you with the next Monday Motivation in 2020!

Signing off,

Craig
